Automatic Chlorine, pH & ORP Control

Turn water quality readings into a controlled dosing response. A practical monitoring approach for hotel pools, resorts, water parks and commercial facilities.

APURE A80 is a multi-parameter controller option. The display, connected sensors and sample-flow arrangement are selected as one monitoring scope.

Controller and cabinet options

The APURE range includes A80 multi-parameter controllers and KS-200 digital monitoring cabinets. A80 brings multiple measurements into one interface; the KS-200 cabinet combines a touchscreen with application-selected digital sensors. Confirm the sensor set, outputs and communication options for the proposed configuration.

Your application comes first

Know what your pool needs. Then act on it.

Manual spot checks alone do not show every change between measurements. Online monitoring helps operators see changes and coordinate dosing, while routine testing and maintenance remain essential.

  • Changing pH during operation
  • Disinfectant demand that varies with pool use
  • Manual dosing decisions without continuous readings
  • Separate instruments and pumps that need coordinated control
A coordinated equipment scope

Build the right configuration.

Components are selected to work together. Final scope depends on your application and confirmed technical requirements.

pH measurement

Monitor pH in a representative sample flow. Select a suitable sensor, installation arrangement and controller input for your water conditions.

ORP measurement

ORP indicates oxidation-reduction conditions. It is not a direct free chlorine reading and should not be treated as a universal substitute for chlorine measurement.

Free chlorine measurement

Where direct residual measurement is required, select a compatible chlorine instrument and define sample conditioning and maintenance requirements.

Automatic control

Match controller outputs to dosing pumps. Define setpoints, delays, limits and interlocks with the project team before operation.

Alarms & operator checks

Include a response plan for abnormal readings and loss of sample flow. Validate readings against an appropriate independent test method.

Optional remote monitoring

Confirm available signals, communication interfaces and network access before selecting remote visibility or building management integration.

Selection & project support

Monitoring that fits the complete dosing system.

Instruments need suitable flow conditions, calibration access and a clear relationship with the dosing equipment. We support equipment selection and project coordination; site-specific controls and commissioning requirements must be agreed with your project partners.

Practical questions

Before you specify a system.

Is ORP the same as free chlorine?

No. ORP measures oxidation-reduction potential; free chlorine instruments measure residual chlorine. Water chemistry and measurement conditions affect readings. The appropriate control approach depends on the application.

Can monitoring be added to an existing pool?

Potentially. Existing circulation, sampling, instruments, dosing pumps and control interfaces need review before confirming compatibility.

Does automatic monitoring replace manual testing?

No. Operators still need routine verification, sensor care, calibration and the operating checks required for their facility.
